Dr. Kerry Olsen is a head and neck surgeon at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has authored over 200 publications. He served as the Medical Director of the Mayo Clinic Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center for ten years, promoting healthy lifestyles. Dr. Olsen has a long-standing interest in the role of healthy lifestyle behavior and its impact on disease prevention, treatment, and overall well-being. He selected each of the 12 Habits and initiated the 12 Habits of Highly Healthy People® program to promote healthy lifestyle choices.
Kaisa C. Wieneke, MPH

Kaisa Wieneke, MPH, has over a decade of experience in improving the health and well-being of employees of organizations across the nation. She is the Director of Employee Well-Being at Mayo Clinic. In 2012, Kaisa co-developed the 12 Habits of Highly Healthy People® program. Kaisa is also recognized for her research and education efforts at the regional, national, and international levels. She has been published in the American Journal of Health Behavior on results of a worksite wellness champions program.
Kaisa’s career began at one of the nation’s top health engagement companies where she worked with over 100 large employers and their employees to improve their employee well-being, including a C. Everett Koop Award winning organization. Kaisa earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education and Health Fitness from Gustavus Adolphus College, and her Masters of Public Health with a focus on Community Health Education from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
